The Rayleigh criterion for the resolving power of the eye states that two point sources of light can be distinguished as separate when the angle between them is greater than the angular resolution of the eye. This criterion is based on the ability of the eye to distinguish two closely spaced objects as separate entities. The angular resolution of the eye is determined by the wavelength of light and the diameter of the pupil. According to the Rayleigh criterion, the resolving power of the eye is limited by diffraction effects, and the smallest resolvable angle is approximately 1.22 times the wavelength of light divided by the diameter of the pupil. **

This piece is one of Beethoven's most popular and beloved works, known for its hauntingly beautiful and melancholic melodies. The title "Moonlight Sonata" evokes the serene and contemplative mood of Beethoven's composition, making him a likely inspiration for the soundtrack title. **
